Very Informative

As a personal trainer, I am often faced with clients who have just finished rehabilitation in some form or another. This book allows me to understand the possible causes and implications of their concern being addressed. This is an excellent source describing the progressions and stages of rehabilitation. Detailed information and illustrations are included to cover post-operative, clinition (or machine) assisted motion, self induced motion, and maintenance.

I use this book in my physical therapy pratice all the time. It's a great quick refrence book. Any student PT or PTA should get this book if its required or not. It had wonderful pictures and great directions. It's very helpful in understanding therapudic exercise.

Your natal astrological chart is based on the date, time, and place of your birth. Most people are familiar with their Sun sign, which is one of 12 Zodiac symbols. The placement of the Sun in your chart indicates the pathway your soul is following, and each sign is associated with one or more crystals. Using the gemstones associated with your Sun sign can help attract beneficial energies, balance out less desirable tendencies, overcome your karmic inheritance and connect you to the path of your soul.

Each Sun sign is also associated with specific body parts, indicating areas where health challenges may occur. Birthstones can help with these ailments, as well.

While the Sun sign is important, there are two other components of your natal chart that paint the unique portrait that is you: the Moon sign and Ascendant (also know as the Rising Sign). Judy Hall does excellent work with stones, which most of us know. However, in this book she asserts her skill with astrology as well. Not only are basic Sun sign attributions covered, but she goes into great depth and detail regarding other astrological chart points and stones for them. This is the perfect addition to those that want to use the two systems in tandem for personal growth.

The first account of the saintly man that reforms a prostitute, falls in love with her now saintly product and she spurns his advances because now she has offered her life to the Lord. It's a lot of fun to read France's novel and then watch the movie "Miss Sadie Thompson," with Rita Hayworth and Jose Ferrer, Rita playing a sort of Thais. There is an opera by Massenet and several movie versions based on a Maugham's short story, "Rain," that, I believe, plagiarized France's Thais. No matter what, Thais makes fun reading and Miss Sadie Thompson makes fun watching, though the movie was sanitized by the Hays Code. Both open the gates to watch religious zealotry and religious hypocrisy in action, like we see now among Republican candidates.

She holds a master's degree in business education from Northern Illinois �University and a doctorate in adult and community education from Ball State University. Dr. Gaskin has 15 years of experience in the computer industry with several Fortune 500 companies and has developed and written training materials for custom systems applications in both the public and private sector. She is also the author of books on Microsoft Outlook and word processing.

Nancy Graviett is a professor in the Business and Computer Science department at St. Charles Community College in Cottleville, Missouri, where she is the program coordinator for the Business Administrative Systems program and teaches within the program. Nancy is also very active with distance learning and teaches in face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats. She holds a master’s degree from University of Missouri. Nancy holds Microsoft� Certified Application Specialist certification in multiple applications and provides training both on and off campus. Debra Geoghan is currently an associate professor of computer and information science at Bucks County Community College, teaching computer classes ranging from basic computer literacy to cybercrime, computer forensics, and networking. Awesome purchase. This is a great resource for psychoeducation and challenging patients with BPD. I love the worksheets and explanations throughout this toolbox. Dr. Riggenbach's "Borderline Personality Disorder Toolbox" presents beneficial information for anyone affected by BPD. I especially appreciate the inclusion of information for professionals. Oftentimes, expert authors only present information from a provider's perspective, ignoring our perspectives, and the information is often laced with bias--intentional or not. For BPD individuals, the stigma is unavoidable & painful. Having received inadequate and inappropriate medical treatment due to my BPD diagnosis, I am grateful to see it tactfully addressed by Dr. Riggenbach. He addresses BPD so that patients, friends, families, and both medical and mental health providers can benefit from reading it as well as utilizing and practicing the skills, "tools", and exercises provided. I have already been able to use several of the "tools" and exercises and found them very helpful. As a result, I confidently encourage anyone affected by BPD to buy Dr. Riggenbach's book.

As a professional resume writer for 30+ years, each has written thousands of resumes for jobseekers around the globe. In addition, together they founded the world's premier resume training and certification company (Resume Writing Academy) and two high-profile organizations dedicated to the development of resume and career professionals (Career Masters Institute, Career Thought Leaders).

They work together remotely, Louise from the 10th floor of a tower in downtown Boston, Massachusetts, and Wendy from her 35-acre farm in the middle of nowhere, Virginia.

Nothing Special

When I got this book, I should have looked at it more closely. I would have returned it. This is money you can save.
In my opinion, some of the examples used in the book are not strong examples of resumes. There is nothing new about some of the suggestion. For example, " lead with strong verbs." " Be specific' You can find these suggestions on any career website. There were no examples of cover letters or letters of interest.
If you decide to order this book, I suggest you use Amazon Prime and order another guide at the same time. Compare the two. That way you can make your own decision and send back the one you don't want.
The lesson that I have learned is to always review your orders carefully, within the 30 days that Prime gives you to return it. That is the most important piece of information that I have gotten from this experience.

Modernize Your Resume, provides freshness to the resume writing industry by offering examples and advice on how to present jobseekers to prospective employers and headhunters. The book incorporates automation and social media platforms that prospective jobseekers need to be visible on. Once again, the dynamic-duo conquers! My library is filled with career development and resume writing publications by authors Wendy Enelow and Louise Kurzmark. They have established themselves as the standard in the resume writing industry. While there are other great talents out there in the resume writing arena, Wendy and Louise have showcased the works of other unknown resume writers in her publications. By allowing these writers to piggyback on their notoriety provides credence to their skills and shows how selfless that Wendy and Louise are.

Still in the early stages of tackling my resume revamp. Solid advice presented in easy to read format. Finding the real world illustrations and nuggets sprinkled throughout each chapters very helpful.

Stay tuned, I'll update my review once I take my new and improved resume for a spin in the job market.
